Today, the Communist Party of Kenya boldly confronted and thwarted a temporary coup orchestrated by a deceitful minority, with the Registrar of Political Parties Office acting as their puppeteer. Anne Nderitu, the registrar, Daniel Kinuthia, the director of compliance, and the disgraced Wachira, former secretary general, are the architects of this vile conspiracy. Ali Surraw, the deputy registrar, shamelessly executed their sinister plans.

Our resolute actions successfully prevented the coup from gaining a foothold. The lapdogs of the parasitic ruling class were forcefully halted from occupying any of the 24 party offices. Additionally, a case has been lodged against the registrar at the tribunal, and a civilian barricade has been erected to protect all party assets.

In response to this audacious assault on our movement, the Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Kenya has urgently convened a meeting, to be held at our party headquarters on Monday, June 12th, 2023. This crucial gathering aims to develop a comprehensive policy that will guide our unwavering response to this treachery. Furthermore, we will issue a press statement to the fourth estate, ensuring our members are kept well-informed.

Today, as our steadfast CPK cadres activate their revolutionary units, we wholeheartedly denounce the temporary coup executed by right-wing state operatives. We maintain an unwavering belief that the hardworking people of Kenya, under the resolute leadership of our party, will respond with dignity, urgency, and unwavering determination. In the past, the state apparatus attempted to disrupt our party from the outside in 2007 and 2013, only to face abject failure. Now, they resort to betrayal from within, but rest assured, they shall be met with nothing but utter humiliation.

We call upon all organizations of the people's power, including social justice centers and peasant movements, and international communist parties and organizations to express their unwavering solidarity. We urge you to issue a resolute statement in support of our cause. Together, we shall overcome and emerge victorious!

Long live the CPK !

Down with opportunism!

Expose and Defeat US Imperialism, the Primary Aggressor Against Humanity May 26th, 2026   Nepal is a land of immense revolutionary history and immense contradiction. The mountains of Nepal carry the memory of armed struggle, sacrifice, and the blood of workers and peasants who rose against feudal monarchy and imperialist domination. Through the communist led anti monarchy insurgency, the old order was shaken violently. The 2001 royal massacre accelerated the collapse of feudal authority and opened the road toward the struggle for national democracy. During the ten years of People’s War,  [ ... ]
